RACE DNA

To make the META V5 a reality, we applied the method that has brought us success in downhill with the SUPREME DH V5. We confronted it at the highest level and created a factory team, the COMMENCAL ENDURO PROJECT to achieve our goal: TO BE THE BEST IN ENDURO.

Four years, three versions, twenty-eight evolutions, fifteen top elite races, an Enduro World Cup victory and two podiums later, the META V5 is ready!

FROM VIRTUAL TO REALITY

The VIRTUAL CONTACT SYSTEM (VCS) is designed so that the behaviour of the META V5 is in line with each situation we’ve experienced in real life riding situations.

Thanks to the VCS, the bike is reactive at the start of the suspension travel to promote grip and to cope better with ever-changing terrain.

Once at SAG the bike offers control. It handles easily and pedals efficiency in technical areas so the rider can focus solely on sticking to the line. Dynamic and lively, it allows the rider the ability to constantly play with the terrain to gain speed and flow.

At the end of the stroke, the META V5 absorbs big shocks and remains comfortable through impacts. There’s 150mm of travel on paper but that feels like a lot more on the trails.

The geometry of the META V5 is the synthesis of our knowledge and experience in racing and testing.
